The activity

Centre for Spatial and Socio-Economic Analyses operates at the Faculty  of Human Geography and Planning of AMU as part of the Adam Mickiewicz University Foundation with its head office in Poznań Science and Technology Park.

The centre seeks to transfer modern methodology of research to economic practice, and at the same time draws on experience of business and administrative entities to perfect theoretical conceptions.

Commissioners, clients, and partners in search of optimal solutions can be local government units of all types (communes, poviats, voivodeships), local government associations and societies, government administration bodies and the units they supervise, non-governmental organizations, various kinds of entrepreneurs who intend to take up on economic activity or expand their businesses.

Centre for Spatial and Socio-Economic Analyses is planning to prepare a special offer of possible activities for foreign entrepreneurs and research institutes, adjusted to individual requirements and expectations.

The centre has extensive human and technical resources. In the first instance, it takes from the knowledge and scientific output of the Faculty staff as well as from the achievements of the Faculty of Geographic and  Geological Sciences of AMU. The centre also cooperates with eminent researchers from renown scientific centres in the country and abroad.
